no doubt, the best among these is 'ore kadal' by shyamaprasad; though it's not a great movie.

ITS A TOTAL TIME PASS MOVIE WITH SUPER PUNCH DIALOGUES , GOOD SONGS, AND A GOOD STORY

Because of the astonishing performance of Mammootty & Meera Jasmine and the script of Shyam..really great ful to say this movie is the best

Oree kadal is the best movie
Orey Kadal is unparallelled in the history of malayalam cinema. perhaps, only suzanna is somewhat similar. the movie apart from showcasing two powerhouse acting performances, also punctures the mallu moral notions. don't miss out the malayali female reaction to the film - they simply lap it up. perhaps a pointer to the changing mindscape of women in the changing times?!...
I couldn't see the movie "Ore kadal"...but out of other 3 movies, Novedyam is ok; but old wine in the new bottle.

Ore Kadal is the best movie among those I have watched for the past two - three years. The way the story is told, the way the lead actors performed, especially Meera Jasmine (Mammootty is not behind). The only problem is the low class audience, whistling and howling, and shouting obscene comments, makes it difficult to come with family!!!

I watched three out of four movies...Didn't watch Kichamani...Ore kadal is the best...Nivedhyam is average.Alibhai is really horrible.

Ore Kadal is the best onam film. Its a great movie of the year 2007 also. Ali bhai is fully borring film. Kichamani also borring. Aag is far far far behind Sholay.
i doubt, Mr Shyamaprasad have organised some person to senst some hyperbolic comments about his film. I have seen ORE KADAL.It is an average movie. mammooty and meera have done well. but the script and direction is horrible , sir.

Ore Kadal is the best onam film.Alibhai is actually "CHALI BHAI".Kichamani is also BOring.Lohithadas's Nivedyam Is also a good movie.
Ore kadal was a powerful but very disturbing experience for me...I can understand Deepthi and her feelings as I am a non-working wife sits in a flat in Madras for the past three years....The loneliness and isolation are part of the modern city life....People are measured in terms of the money they make......I wish I can be back to my old Payyannur days...Very nostalgic movie!!!Powerful characters too...
Orey Kadal is the best among all, or in other words best of the year, may be kayyoppu also gr8.I rate the way story told (Script, Direction camera and Editing ) is havig more wiehtage than Ms acting, though they acted realy well.
